HONRADO COM O CONVITE DA HARVARD KENNEDY SCHOOL EXECUTIVE – Por Augusto Saboia

“Dear Mr. Augusto Cesar Saboia Petit Fontes,

I am writing to introduce myself as the program director of Harvard Kennedy School’s Infrastructure in a Market Economy: Public Private Partnerships in a Change World program. I would like to cordially invite you to apply for or nominate a senior officiation to apply for a two week Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education program here in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

Infrastructure in a Market Economy, chaired by Dr. Akash Deep, helps senior decision-makers address critical questions about public-private partnerships in infrastructure. The program brings together senior-level officials from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to examine lessons learned and best practices from public-private infrastructure development projects around the world. The program addresses such questions as:

  • Why have some types of partnerships succeeded where others have failed?
  • What partnership models are best suited to what political and economic circumstances?
  • How can governments develop and implement reforms to make them politically and economically sustainable over time?
  • What are the opportunities and limitations involved in using private capital markets to finance infrastructure?
  • When is regulation of tariffs necessary and when can governments achieve effective outcomes using market forces?
  • If governments regulate, what mix of contractual and discretionary regulatory mechanisms should be used?

During the course of the program, participants will participate in formal classes, interactive seminars, and exercises as well as engage in informal conversations with faculty, guest speakers, colleagues, and staff.  Our two-week tuition is $12,200 USD, which includes all housing, all books and material, and most meals.  The next session will run March 11 – 23, 2018 and the application deadline is January 11.

If you would like to schedule a time to speak more about how one of these programs or our 35 other open enrollment programs may fit your organization’s needs, please contact me at +1 (617) 495-8036

Please let me know if you have questions, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Caitlin
